Garden obelisk / plant climber frame workshop Southampton 19th April

Create a willow obelisk/plant support afternoon workshop

This workshop is a lovely way to help the wildlife in your gardens and a practical workshop for keen gardeners

We will be using  a mixture of waling and pairing basket weaving techniques to create your stucture.

You will create a medium-sized obelisk which is excellent for robust climbing plants such as runner beans etc and a lovely way to encourage the wildlife to join you, once you know how to make your own you will be able to create many more for your garden,

You can create your obelisk with several layers at the bottom and then twirly designs spiralling around or crossing over if you prefer.

  Please read You will need good hand dexterity for working with willow this is quite a physical activity
