Swift and swallow willow weaving craft kit

 Create your own  swallow and swift Craft Kit 

Sit back and relax, and create your own willow swallow and swift in the comfort of your own home.

 You will be able to create one of each type of bird or two of the same. 

 Kit contents

 All of the materials that you need  to create  both birds using basketry-grade willow 

• Preshaped frames
• Weaving willow 
• Written instructions with step-by-step images 

You will need to provide

• A large bucket or container to  soak the willow 
• A  large towel  or something that will hold moisture e,g a cotton quilt cover
• A  pair of  sharp secateurs or wire cutters 
• Something thin and spikey e,g a knitting needle a thin screw driver or bradawl if you have one 

  Please note that the willow I have included still has its bark on, so you will need to allow 5-ish days to prepare it in advance of making 

Please note that it  may take longer if you soak it  outside in cold weather
