Willow piglet workshop Burley Village Hall on the 9th June

I love providing this lovely workshop in the New Forest where participants  learn how to make charming piglets out of willow withies

Whether you are an experienced crafter or a beginner looking to try something new, this workshop is a fun and rewarding way to unleash your creativity and learn a new skill.

I provide step-by-step instructions and tips for shaping the stems into a piglet form,  at the end of the workshop,  you will have a unique and adorable willow piglet to take home and display. 

I look forward to sharing my love of willow weaving with you and helping you create a unique keepsake to treasure for years to come.

As we all work at different speeds, I aim to get you to the stage where you have created a recognizable sculpture that you feel confident to carry on at home should you wish to do so if you haven't completed it in the session.

Please note if this is your first workshop using  working with willow it  can be tough on the hands, so if you struggle with hand strength, pinching, twisting movements etc., you will also need to move arround quite a bit, if your not sure please do contact me in advance to chat about whether the workshop will be suitable for you to attend.

This workshop takes place at Burley Village Hall in the village of Burley located in the heartof the New Forest

Time 10 am - 5pm.

All materials , use of tools and light refreshments are included, you will need to bring a bucket .
